STORY KEEPERS

*SCADpro Project

 

For this SCADpro, Stride tasked our team to create an educational RPG, based on the French Revolution content of their grades 8&9 curriculum. This "gamified" learning platform also needed to be expandable to allow for additional historical topics in the future.

​

In the game we created, students play as a museum owner/currator, responsible for caring for and acquring artifacts for their French Revolution exhibit. Students play mini games to review these artifacts, interact with a diverse staff of docents to learn more, and even use AR to get a better understanding.

Responsibilties

  • Primary Point-of-Contact for Stride client (https://www.stridelearning.com/ )

  • Project Lead - Identified work items, organized priorities, assigned team tasks with deadlines, monitored progress, provided resources and guidance for team success
  • Heavily involved in design process (especially mini games, game economy, and narrative)​

 

Noteables/Awards

  • Recommended by two SCAD professors to work on this project as a Junior

  • Story Keepers is live and being used by Stride students throughout the United States

  • Project completed in 10 weeks
